The Role
"
We are seeking an experienced National Investigator to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our Fraud and Investigations team, you will be responsible for leading and conducting investigations, internal and external, from allegations and data collection to prosecutions, in a lawful and timely manner.
"
Your Key Responsibilities
"
Identify and investigate allegations, build comprehensive briefs for police and prosecution purposes, and conduct internal records of interviews that are business compliant and lawful.
Provide stakeholders with high-level overviews of incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations to mitigate future and ongoing risks.
Conduct security risk assessments of sites to identify vulnerabilities and determine corrective actions, working in conjunction with the Fraud Analyst to provide trends, investigation results, and evolving risk for theft and fraud.

Requirements
"
To be successful in this role, you will have:
"
A Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or the ability to attain it) and/or previous police background.
Proven investigation experience in retail, with the ability to create and conduct written records of interviews that are lawful.
Working knowledge of all fraud data systems, CCTV, alarms, and relevant legislations, as well as skills in the AUROR platform.
Good knowledge of APPRISS platform (highly desired) and relevant legislations and privacy compliance.
Demonstrated ability to investigate and provide business outcomes and reports with root cause analysis.
Interest or experience in online fraud an advantage.
Ability to travel at short notice for investigations.
