JOB DESCRIPTION: OFFICE BOOKINGS ASSISTANT
Reports to: General Front office Manager
Job Purpose:
1. To support the Reservations Back-office System
2. To process and manage accommodation related bookings and enquiries
3. To process all other enquiries related to hotel stay Guests
4. To be particular about other office related duties
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Handle accommodation related enquiries via telephone calls, emails and online platforms
2. Record bookings and accommodation reservations ensuring that booking and guest details are
recorded accurately on the reservation systems
3. Provide reports, as required, in relation to accommodation bookings and availability
4. Undertake data management duties such as data input, database management, file management and record keeping
5. Perform all administrative duties relating to office and reservations
6. Any other duties as directed by the Manager or member of the senior management team
Requirements for the Role:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Friendly, confident and polite telephone manner
3. Fair IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and demonstrable ability
4. Knowledge and understanding of Hotel Reservations software
5. Previous experience in a bookings/reservations/administrative/office role or environment
6. Outgoing personality
7. Ability to resolve queries in a proactive, practical and positive manner
8. Exceptional attention to detail
+. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities with minimum supervision
10. Flexible approach to work
11. Ability to work as part of a team
