In late 2024, iSelect and Compare the Market formed a new Aggregation business within the group and now support millions of Australians to compare and buy their personal finance and household products such as insurance, energy, and loans.

About The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role across both iSelect and Compare the Market. As a key member of the Finance and Planning team, you’ll be responsible for delivering impactful reporting solutions and data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across both businesses.

Lead the design, development, and ongoing improvement of financial and operational reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support business decision-making.
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of daily, weekly and monthly financial and operating reporting metrics.
Drive the integration and alignment of Compare the Market and iSelect reporting functions.
Deliver analysis and reporting support to various business units from data extraction and transformation to generating actionable insights.
Partner closely with teams across Commercial, Marketing, and Finance to understand their reporting needs and provide valuable insights and recommendations.
Support and develop a team of Reporting Analysts managing workload, performance, and ensuring they have the right training and tools to succeed.
Collaborate with the TM1 Administrator to ensure the IBM TM1 environment is efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with business reporting requirements.
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of all reporting processes and tools to ensure consistency, accuracy and scalability.·

About You

You have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and generating business insights. You combine technical expertise with strong commercial awareness, and you're known for your attention to detail and proactive approach.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
3 years experience in a financial or operational analyst role.
Strong hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools, including Cognos Analytics, IBM Cognos TM1 and PowerBI.
Familiarity with data architecture and data warehouse environments
Proficient in SQL within Microsoft SQL Server, and highly skilled in advanced Excel, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and insightful data visualizations and reports.
A proven ability to communicate data-driven insights through reports, dashboards, and visual tools to a range of stakeholders.
