You will be responsible for conducting health assessments, screenings, and diagnostic services, as well as delivering health education and advice to promote family well-being. As a midwife in the Falkland Islands, you will have access to a range of benefits, including a base salary of £35,274 - £43,564, plus enhancements for unsocial hours and on-call. You will also receive a market supplement to salary of £13,000 to £15,000 per year, as well as a gratuity (lump sum payment) on completion of the contract term equivalent to 25% of the total base salary value of the contract.
Current registration as a midwife with a recognised regulatory body
Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
