As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small and medium-sized businesses in the local market. This is a full-time position within our Retail Banking division, specifically in the Business Lending department.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new business clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention
• Understand the financial needs of clients and provide them with customized solutions to meet their business goals
• Cross-sell other banking products and services to clients to increase revenue and deepen relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and product to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to clients
• Stay updated on market trends and competition to identify potential business opportunities and risks
• Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Business Lending portfolio
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business banking or commercial lending
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with clients
• In-depth knowledge of financial products and services, particularly in the business banking space
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
