About the job
As part of our team, every day will be different based on the needs of your clients. You can expect a typical day to include:
Providing specialized clinical assessments and creating treatment plans for clients, working with families and teams.
Consulting and liaising with other disciplines, families, schools, and community agencies to set expectations and follow up on care.
Keeping detailed records of client assessments and progress, ensuring confidentiality and proper handling of health information.
Obtaining and maintaining consent from clients and families by explaining program details and helping them make informed decisions.
Developing and delivering clinical education programs for CPRI and community service providers, including workshops and webinars.

What you bring to the team
Mandatory Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university.
Registration as a Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Valid Ontario 'G' Drivers License to travel within the service area and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Specialized knowledge and experience

You have:
Expertise in Social Work principles, theories, and evidence-based practices, including development and mental health.
Familiarity with community resources and liaising with service providers across Ontario.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, Ministry policies, and procedures.
Relevant experience with a consultation service delivery model.
Knowledge of family dynamics, counseling, and case management.
Experience working with diverse clients to address their unique needs.
Analytical and planning skills

You can:
Coordinate and analyze data to develop and monitor comprehensive client support plans.
Evaluate client needs and deliver tailored support services.
Assess client needs and provide appropriate support.
Communication and interpersonal skills

You are skilled in:
Preparing reports, relating to various people, and conducting client interviews.
Working with professionals, staff, and community representatives, and engaging with clients and families.
Organizational and technical skills

You can:
Manage information from various sources and prioritize workload.
Use standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
