We are looking for experienced Quality Control person to strengthen QC team in factory at Kondhapuri, in Pune
Your expertise will make you:
• Responsible for part inspection at machine shop, assembly and vendor end.
• Conduct testing at various stages of parts assemblies e.g. DT, NDT, painting, hydro, pneumatic etc.
• Maintain inspection record, NCR at various stages
• Maintain in process assembly checks and quality documents at various levels.
• Responsible for TPI/ client handling during inspections, preparing documentation at each stage.
• Review inspection procedures / plans and update if required.
• Review and implement inspection instruments/ tools required for project specific activities / new development parts.
• Responsible for instruments inventory and valid calibrated instruments in use.
• Support calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment and certificate review.
• Responsible for arranging NCR review meeting of machine shop and monitor effective implementation of CAPA for the actions initiated by concerned process owners of bare compressor.
• Implement FCAC related actions at appropriate levels.
• Update on daily basis- time sheets, FPY sheet, self-certification sheet, route card entry, on time inspection register, related graphs.
• Update inspection status/ other highlights to section head for management updates on daily basis.
• Maintain 5S at working area and EOHS related guidelines.
Education / Experience
• BE (Mech) / DME with work experience of 8-12 years of machined part inspection in engineering industry
• Knowledge of GD T
• Knowledge of handling CMM, Trimos and other measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machining processes and applications
• Knowledge of related NDT test procedures
• Awareness of ISO +001 , EOHS management systems
Language Skills
• Good Communication skills in English, Marathi, Hindi
Special requirements
• Conversant with Shop floor activities
• Good in team activities, communication
Indicators (KPIs)
• As per yearly KRA objectives e.g. KPI’s:
• On time Inspection at various stages,
• Rejection analysis, suggestions reduction
• Kaizens for inspection process improvement
