Financial Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, including purchasing, invoicing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
• Manage capital work in progress (CWIP) to ensure accurate recording and capitalization of costs.
• Work with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and transfer to fixed assets.
• Prepare and present CWIP reports to management, highlighting project status, costs, and variances.
• Review and approve capital expenditure requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
• Process vendor invoices related to purchases, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely payment.

Key Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on purchase accounting or accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly related to procurement and inventory management.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
