Job Description (JD) - Purchase Executive
Position Title: Purchase Executive
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Minimum Work Experience : At least 7-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
Prepare and distribute Request for Quotations (RFQs) for materials and services.
Obtain and compare prices and terms from suppliers.
Prepare and manage contracts and purchase orders.
Supplier Management:
Identify and select suppliers.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
Stock and Supply Monitoring:
Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary.
Identify and resolve issues related to stock shortages or surpluses.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Accurately record and store all purchase documents, such as purchase orders, invoices, and payment details.
Prepare and manage financial records and stock reports.
Budget and Cost Management:
Adhere to the purchasing budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost-effectiveness reports.
Dispute and Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve any disputes or issues with suppliers.
