Public Health Educator
About the Role:
You will deliver high-quality teaching materials and conduct associated administrative duties across public health programs. This includes facilitating student learning in work-integrated learning settings, utilizing contemporary professional knowledge to develop research aligned to public health.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and conduct learning activities, including lectures, tutorials, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students.
Undertake high-quality teaching as part of the teaching team, participating in moderation of marking exercises and benchmarking.
Conduct research and scholarly activity, resulting in publications in refereed journals and presenting conference papers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated ability and experience carrying out teaching activities in various related courses, reflecting contemporary pedagogical, student, and professional needs and standards.
Demonstrated ability to provide teaching and supervision of public health students.
Demonstrated capacity to provide discipline input to the public health curriculum, including program accreditation and benchmarking processes.
