Project Engineer PEB
Job Definition
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of PEB projects. This includes coordinating with clients, managing resources, ensuring quality, and maintaining timelines to deliver projects within budget and scope.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and milestones.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project readiness.
Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and internal departments for smooth communication.
Monitor on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to site teams.
Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and quality.
Manage labor, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
Optimize resource utilization to control costs and avoid delays.
Ensure all construction activities meet design standards, codes, and client expectations.
Conduct regular quality checks and address non-conformities promptly.
Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
Prepare progress reports and update stakeholders on project status.
Assist in billing and certification of completed works.
Enforce safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers.
Qualifications Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
3–6 years of experience in PEB construction or a similar role in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of PEB erection processes, equipment, and materials.
Familiarity with project management software and tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site.
Familiarity with local construction regulations and codes.
