About the role
The Procurement Contracts Lead is responsible for managing the development and implementation of contracts across a range of categories, with a focus on contract reviews, tender documentation, and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Managing the development and implementation of contracts across a range of categories
Overseeing the end to end tender process ensuring the correct approval and timelines are adhered to
Developing, coordinating and leading sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs
Providing strategies for dealing with contractual issues and variations and consulting with the stakeholders on legal, compliance and insurance matters
Conducting reviews to ensure contractual obligations are being met and provide advice to resolve contractual issues
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives of procurement contract processes, systems, tools and templates to streamline processes and achieve cost savings

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Accredited Qualification in Contract Management, Business or Law
Demonstrated experience developing detailed Contract Management plans
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to look for opportunities to improve supplier relationships and agreements
Experience with contract management software and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level computer literacy
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of procurement practices including contact management and supplier relationship management (SRM)
Experience within a Procurement or Supply Chain environment - desirable
