GAP Talent is working with a leading FB organization based in the Caribbean who are seeking to appoint a Procurement and Logistics Director. This is an international post with full relocation and housing provided. Important: Please note to the relatively remote location, it may be a challenge to move with older/teenage children in particular due to limited private schooling. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our FB group. You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and logistics function which operates across several countries and multinational household name brands, you will lead a team dedicated to sourcing high-quality ingredients, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Alough FB procument and logisiscs is a large portion the position also has responbilties across the group including operation FFE and other procurement requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients while maintaining cost efficiency. Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors. Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes. Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a senior procurement role within the Food Beverage OR hospitality industry. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost negotiation. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions. Read more
