Prep Cook

Pretty Soul Kitchen in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one prep cook to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 7365 W Sahara Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.


Responsibilities

*Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes *Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking *Weigh and measure ingredients *Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables *Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces *Label stock and inventory all ingredients *Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas *
Requirements and Must-Haves:

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role. * References: Provide contacts from previous job experiences to verify your skills and work ethic. * Independence: Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision. * Initiative: Must be a self-starter, proactive in identifying tasks and ensuring completion. * Shift: Required early morning shifts to ensure timely preparation for our kitchen operations. * Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance. * Reliability: Must be dependable, with a strong commitment to meeting job expectations and responsibilities.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $13.00 - $15.00/hour.
