**This position is eligible to work from home anywhere in the United States**
Essential Functions:
Examines and processes all mail audit documents submitted by policyholders to accurately calculate earned premium.
Uses appropriate premium audit rules and classifications to accurately calculate exposures and premiums.
Communicates renewal endorsements as appropriate.
Completes incoming work within the established company standards for quality, timeliness, and productivity.
Builds and maintains relationships with agents and insureds by helping to answer audit questions, communicating audit results, and facilitating audit disputes.
Corresponds with underwriting, claims, and fraud departments as necessary.
Develops a working knowledge of manual rules, state regulations, and company standards and procedures.
Provides administrative support to Field Audit Team as departmental SOP outlines.
Investigates and resolves disputes and differences in payroll and classification data. Escalates as needed to Manager.
Education Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency
Two years of experience in commercial lines underwriting support or accounting or related experience
Knowledge, Skills Abilities:
Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
Ability to file alpha information accurately
Good proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Good knowledge of insurance terminology and classification codes preferred
Knowledge of underwriting and rating preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving skills and good math aptitude
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.00-$26.00 range or the $21.00-$29.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
