Practice Manager - Law Firm
Job description
A rapidly growing boutique law firm, founded by two dynamic lawyers from top-tier London firms, is looking for a Practice Manager to join their team in a beautiful market town in West Sussex.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a firm at an early stage. You’ll work closely with the founders to build and manage a brand-new office, play a key role in recruitment, oversee IT and systems setup, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The role would suit:
• A true all-rounder who enjoys variety and takes initiative
• Someone with law firm experience (strongly preferred)
• A team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved
• Excellent organisational and people skills
• Familiarity with compliance, office setup, and legal admin
• Confident engaging with clients and external providers
• A proactive, positive attitude and the flexibility to grow with the firm.
• Key responsibilities:
• Office setup and ongoing management
• Recruitment support and onboarding new team members
• IT coordination and systems implementation
• Overseeing compliance and policies
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and staff.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role where your input will be valued and your impact visible from day one. If you’re looking for a chance to make a difference, help build something meaningful, and work with genuinely lovely people — we’d love to hear from you.
