Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to ensure seamless project completion.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively and clearly with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing systems.
Experience in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
Ability to assemble various components of plumbing systems accurately.
Understanding of welding techniques applicable to plumbing installations.
