Piano Teacher

Duties

Develop and implement music lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
Teach students how to read sheet music, play instruments, and understand musical concepts
Provide individual and group instruction in various musical styles and genres
Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate music programs and events
Maintain a safe and organized music classroom
Requirements

Experience working with children or teaching/tutoring experience
Knowledge of special education techniques is a plus
Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage students
Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
