We are conveniently located 1-2 minutes walking distance from the Hurstville Station.
We offer a professional office working environment with brand new pianos. We also have a team of professional friendly staff members with good work ethics.
We are currently looking for a long term teacher to join the team.
What you will need:
A music degree (piano as the main instrument), currently studying one or diploma AMUS level minimum.
To be able to handle a range of students whether they are participating in an AMEB exam or learning just for fun.
1 year of teaching experience minimum in piano tuition and putting students into AMEB or ABRSM exams.
The ability to relate well to children, parents and other staff member.
A Long term commitment.
Work with children’s check
Training that’s provided:
Training in effectively building relationship with students and parents.
Teaching techniques.
Maximize students’ progress
Piano pedagogical methods across different ages.
AMEB exam preparation
Concert preparation
Working Hours:
- 10 to 20 hours of teaching per week preferred with a minimum of 10 hours commitment per week.
- Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 3-8pm, Saturday Sunday 9am -6:30pm
- We are open throughout t year including school holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Subcontract
Pay: $40.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
