Pharmacy Clerk
We are seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to join our team at St. Thomas Pharmacy - General De Gaulle site. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized customer service to patients through in-person and phone communication, active listening, and directing customer questions to the right person on the pharmacy team.
Create a seamless experience for customers by accurately operating and maintaining the point-of-sales system, prescription bins, and the storage and shipping of medications.
Support and help improve the pharmacy and the team, empower your career, and learn and grow with others at Omnicell.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.
One year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare/Medical Office environment.
Bilingual (fluent in English-Spanish).
Preferred Qualifications:
Interested in being a Certified Pharmacy Technician / currently interested in obtaining CPhT.
Career growth mindset to obtain CPhT.
Cashiering experience.
Patient interfacing experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Must be able to commute to work at the pharmacy location listed.
Must be able to work the pharmacy's operational hours.
This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
