Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to care for a male disabled senior with high medical needs. and disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Mobility assistance and transfers including lifting when necessary.
Assist with medication administration as per care plans and guidelines.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior
Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans effectively.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
Qualifications
Experience in home care, senior care, or hospice care is preferred.
Previous experience in patient care or working in a nursing home setting is beneficial.
Ability to perform lifting as required by client needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Certification in first aid/CPR is desirable but not mandatory.
Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
