DS Carriers Limited is a growing transport and logistics company providing services across the Auckland region. As operations expand, the company is seeking a Personal Assistant to support day-to-day administrative functions, manage scheduling, and help ensure smooth workflow across tasks.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of handling a range of administrative responsibilities with discretion and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee assigned tasks and respond to staff inquiries to support smooth day-to-day operations.
Organise and manage the director’s schedule, ensuring prioritisation of key tasks and effective time use.
Monitor and administer the company’s invoicing process to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Assist in the preparation and timely delivery of financial and operational reports.
Manage calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the director, ensuring prompt and appropriate communication.
Act as a liaison between the director, staff, and external stakeholders.
Support the planning and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency.
Coordinate the director’s meetings, appointments, and events.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all related tasks.
Maintain client relationships and manage purchase documentation and records.
Assist with the oversight of daily business functions to align with company goals.
Address staff queries promptly to facilitate effective internal communication.
Represent the director in meetings when required, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-ups.
Perform additional duties related to business operations as assigned by the director.
The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 to $40 per hour.

Other important requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Administration/Business Management or Level 5 qualification.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrates a dedicated, proactive, and reliable work ethic.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of taking initiative.
Consistently maintains a detail-oriented and thorough approach to responsibilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
