Permanent Childcare Educator | Essendon

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Educator to join our Essendon team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

Centre Overview:
Our Essendon Centre provides intentional learning opportunities daily, with a focus on literacy and numeracy, language, life skills, music and rhythm, and more. We embrace the uniqueness of each child, recognising their individuality and treating them with the utmost respect. About the role:
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday in our Nursery Room.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector. As an Educator with Journey Early Learning, you will be supported by your Centre Leadership Team, as you learn the fundamental skills of being an inspired Educator within the Journey family.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of health safety standards are maintained at all times

Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children

Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.

Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

About you:
You are creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:
An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher

Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines

An approved Working with Children Check - VIC

Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
