Job Definition
A Site Engineer in the PEB sector oversees construction activities at the site, ensuring proper installation of structural components, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with teams to complete the project on time and within specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Site Management:
Supervise and monitor the execution of PEB construction activities as per design and drawings.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at the site.
Coordinate with laborers, contractors, and site workers for efficient workflow.
2. Planning Coordination:
Assist in preparing the project schedule and plan daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
Coordinate with design, fabrication, and erection teams to ensure smooth project progress.
Act as a liaison between the project management team, contractors, and clients.
3. Quality Assurance Control:
Inspect materials, ensure proper storage, and confirm that materials meet project requirements.
Monitor the installation of structural members, roof sheeting, cladding, and other PEB components for quality compliance.
Address and resolve on-site issues related to quality or installation errors.
4. Technical Expertise:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for proper execution.
Verify alignment, leveling, and elevation using survey instruments.
Supervise bolt-tightening, welding, and connections as per the PEB design standards.
5. Reporting Documentation:
Maintain site logs, including daily progress reports, labor attendance, and resource usage.
Identify delays or deviations from the project schedule and report them to the project manager.
Ensure completion and approval of quality checks and safety audits.
6. Compliance:
Ensure work aligns with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
Enforce safety standards and environmental guidelines on-site.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Education:
Diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2.Experience:
1-3 years in PEB construction or structural engineering is preferred.
NOTE: Immediate Joiners Preferred
The candidate should possess proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
