For 81 years, we've achieved success through our ability to innovate, placing a clear emphasis on how we best serve our customers’ needs. As demand continues to grow, we have expanded rapidly, now delivering a superior range of dry goods, frozen and chilled products, fresh seafood and meat, confectionery, paper products, and cleaning solutions.
In recent years, we’ve seen significant growth and invested in our systems and processes, building a close partnership with Woolworths Group that has continued to deliver high-quality service for our customers and suppliers.
In 2024, Woolworths moved to a 100% interest in the PFD business, bringing PFD exciting opportunities as a strategic part of the Group. Sharing expertise across both teams will ensure our continued success and drive further growth and unlock our collective potential.
About this Position
Are you the type of person who sees patterns in numbers and enjoys telling a story through data? Do you thrive on solving complex puzzles, particularly when they impact people’s livelihoods?
We’re looking for a Payroll Data Analyst who loves digging deep into data, compliance, and processes. You’ll help us identify and fix payroll discrepancies, partner across teams to deliver impactful remediation programs, and play a key role in shaping better ways of working moving forward.
This is a newly created position with room to grow and influence. You won’t be siloed. Instead, you’ll partner with payroll, finance, HR, and legal, helping the business make informed, fair, and future-proof decisions. Think detective work meets data storytelling, with real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and resolve anomalies in complex payroll data to ensure accurate and compliant employee payments.
Translate findings into meaningful insights and actions using reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Legal and Finance to validate and address issues.
Help develop and implement remediation plans and future-ready frameworks.
Support payroll system and process improvement projects.
Present data in a clear, confident, and approachable way from technical teams to executives.
Maintain documentation to meet compliance, audit, and record-keeping standards.
Be flexible and responsive as business needs evolve, no two days are the same!
