Patient Experience Manager – Currie Barracks Location
Ready to lead something exciting?
We're building something new at Currie Barracks - and we're looking for a Patient Experience Manager who’s equal parts operations expert and people-person. If you thrive on ownership, love building systems that work, and want to make a real difference in people’s lives, this role is made for you.
Be a Key Leader in Our Next Chapter
/Ascent Health Sport Therapy is expanding to a brand-new clinic at Currie Barracks this fall, and we’re looking for a standout Patient Experience Manager to help lead the way.
This isn’t just a front desk role. As our Patient Experience Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for daily clinic operations, the first point of contact for patients, and a driving force behind the warm, professional, and efficient experience we’re known for.
You’ll work closely with our Clinic Director to lead the Patient Experience Team and play a foundational role in creating systems, building team culture, and shaping the success of a thriving, high-performance clinic.
About the Role
As the Patient Experience Manager, you’ll take ownership of administrative processes that ensure exceptional service from first impression to follow-up. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team and lead our patient experience coordinators to:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Currie Barracks clinic
Set the tone for a professional, welcoming, and organized environment
Create systems that support efficiency, patient satisfaction, and team coordination
Play a key leadership role in launching a brand-new clinic location
This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who is solutions-oriented, proactive, and passionate about elevating the patient experience and fostering a healthy clinic culture.
Your work won’t just keep things running - you’ll shape the experience people remember. From first impressions to follow-ups, your leadership will ensure patients feel cared for, teams feel supported, and clinic operations run smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Manage front desk operations: bookings, patient communication, payment processing, and EMR coordination
Supervise and support front desk team members
Collaborate with the clinic leadership team to refine workflows and improve the patient journey
Oversee schedule management and end-of-day processing
Build strong rapport with patients and ensure personalized care pathways
Track and act on clinic KPIs (e.g., Google reviews, NPS, patient retention)
Assist with onboarding new practitioners and coordinating cross-team communication
Contribute to marketing efforts, local outreach, and special projects
Who You Are
A confident leader who thrives on ownership and accountability
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experienced in customer service, clinic administration, or office management (clinic or wellness industry experience a strong asset)
Tech-savvy with proficiency in EMRs, scheduling tools, and spreadsheets
A clear, empathetic communicator with a calm and professional presence
Flexible, self-motivated, and energized by a fast-paced team environment
Excited to collaborate with a high-performing team that blends sport science, rehab, and performance care
You’ll Thrive in This Role If…
You love building systems that create calm in busy environments
You naturally bring warmth, leadership, and structure to a team
You believe that exceptional care starts with an exceptional front desk
You’re excited to shape the culture and success of a brand-new clinic from day one
Why Join /Ascent
Be part of a bold new chapter as we launch and grow our second location
Join a values-driven team culture where collaboration, autonomy, and impact matter
Work in a bright, modern clinic located inside FitHub YYC—alongside other top-tier fitness and wellness professionals
