As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the parts department, ensuring efficient and effective operations to meet customer needs and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
• Parts Inventory Management: Oversee the management of the parts inventory, including stock levels, ordering, receiving, and storage. Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize obsolete or expired parts.
• Order Processing and Fulfillment: Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring the availability and timely delivery of parts. Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, identifying their needs, and recommending appropriate parts and accessories. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to obtain the best value for the company. Evaluate supplier performance regularly and make recommendations for changes or improvements as needed.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of parts staff, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and personal growth. Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance or disciplinary issues promptly and professionally.
• Parts Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for parts sales growth. Develop and implement strategies to promote parts and accessories, including marketing campaigns, promotions, and product demonstrations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and customer trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to parts management, including health and safety guidelines. Maintain a safe and clean parts department, adhering to organizational and industry standards.

Requirements:
• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in parts management, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry, is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong technical aptitude and understanding of heavy equipment, construction machinery, or related industries. Familiarity with Terex Finlay products and parts is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational and Analytical Abilities: Exceptional organizational skills to manage inventory, process orders, and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and optimize operations.
• Customer Focus: A strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional support and building long-term customer relationships. Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate parts and solutions.
• Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using inventory management software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
