Part-time HR Administrator
The HR Administrator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources activities, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, and maintaining employee records. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.
Claims management including completion of required forms and reporting on workplace injury cases.
Support employee relations by addressing HR-related questions and concerns.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Assist with the coordination and facilitation of the Health and Safety program.
Coordinate training sessions and employee development initiatives.
Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
Coordinate social events, community involvement and special events.
Other general human resources related tasks, as required.
Qualifications:
Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources
3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience with an ERP system is an asset
