Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pantry Chef to manage the preparation and presentation of cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, and other pantry items. The ideal candidate should have a creative flair, good organizational skills, and a strong understanding of food hygiene and cold kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and plate cold dishes including salads, sandwiches, dressings, canapés, and desserts.
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Assist in menu planning and development of pantry items.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pantry station as per hygiene standards.
Store food items appropriately and monitor shelf life and freshness.
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently.
Manage stock levels of pantry ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
Label, date, and rotate all food items properly.
Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred).
Proven experience as a Pantry Chef or in a similar cold kitchen role.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI, HACCP, etc.).
Attention to detail, creativity in food presentation, and good knife skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment used in cold food preparation.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
