PAINTERS - GOOD PEOPLE

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This position requires proficiency in using hand tools and restoring surfaces, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
Restore surfaces by repairing damages before painting.
Rig and set up equipment as needed for various painting tasks.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.
Requirements

Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred.
Strong skills in reading schematics and blueprints.
Proficiency in using hand tools related to painting tasks.
Ability to restore surfaces effectively before applying finishes.
Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
A strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
