Position Available: Painter’s Assistant
Number of Positions Available: 2
Location: Auckland Region
Payrate: $26 Per Hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

Key Requirements:
Level 4 or above relevant qualification

or

At least 6 months of relevant experience in painting, construction, trade or renovations field.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with painting and renovation tasks across residential or commercial sites

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and protecting adjacent surfaces

Support painters in applying paint, varnish, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

Set up scaffolding, ladders, and drop sheets to protect work areas

Load and unload paint and materials from vehicles or storage

Clean equipment and maintain tidy work areas before, during, and after tasks

Collaborate with team members on multi-trade construction or renovation projects

Adhere to site health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
