Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our standards of excellence. The Painter will work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
Review production schedule, including special instructions
Ensure proper paint is utilized.
Paint all required sides of profile.
Keep work area clean
Maintain a safe workplace
Ensure paint gun is cleaned
Inspect surface finish (i.e. missed paint surfaces, overspray, etc), advise Supervisor and/or Plant Manager as appropriate.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools safely.
Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
