Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in the lighting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing metal and other materials used in the production of lighting fixtures. You will apply paints, coatings, and finishes to ensure the highest quality standards and contribute to the aesthetics and durability of our lighting products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prepare metal or other surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and other contaminants.
• Painting Application: Apply primers, base coats, and finishing coats using spray guns, brushes, or rollers in a clean and controlled manner.
• Color Matching: Mix paints and finishes according to required specifications to ensure consistent color, texture, and quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect surfaces for any defects or imperfections before and after painting to meet product quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and booths, ensuring they are clean, functional, and properly calibrated.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles to minimize risks from fumes and chemicals.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, engineers, and quality control staff to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial painter, preferably in the lighting or similar manufacturing industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of spray guns, brushes, and Spray Cans for applying various types of paints, coatings, and finishes.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify imperfections and apply solutions to maintain high-quality standards.
• Knowledge: Understanding of different types of coatings (e.g., powder coating, wet paint) and their appropriate application processes.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in powder coating processes.
• Knowledge of working with metal substrates, Fiber and Plastic material specific to lighting products.
