Responsibilities
Performs painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures
Performs painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures
Maintains and repairs walls, wall coverings, and other painted surfaces throughout the facility
Refinishes furniture and woodwork; paints, varnishes, stains, enamels, lacquers and redecorates walls, woodwork, and fixtures
Estimates time and material costs on painting and redecorating projects
Identifies and corrects unsafe working conditions with management oversight; knowledgeable in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work; inspects completed work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and local building code(s)
Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures: to include reporting all accidents and injuries in a timely manner (performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures)
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments and/or all training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated
Initiates/document all work in CMMS system; work orders both reactive and preventative
Shift times may vary according to hospital demands and emergencies
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

A Brief Overview
Performs painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures.
What You Will Do
• Performs painting, finishing, and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures.
• Maintains and repairs walls, wall coverings, and other painted surfaces throughout the facility.
