Position Overview

We are seeking 2 experienced Painting Trades Workers (Painter and Decorator) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to protect, maintain, and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Apply various types of paint, varnish, stains, and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer
Install wallpaper and decorative wall coverings
Spray paint using appropriate equipment and techniques
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finishes
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Follow safety protocols and workplace health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with other trades and team members
Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications
Essential Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant trade experience in construction industry
OR
Qualification: Level 4 Certificate in relevant painting/decorating field
