Painter and Decorater

Award Painting Co. is seeking a skilled and experienced painter to join our team! If you have a passion for quality craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding and applying primers to ensure a smooth base for painting.
Apply a variety of finishes, including paint, varnish and stains to walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces.
Mix and match paint colours to meet client preferences and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that every job site is left spotless.
Provide expert advice to clients on colour schemes, design ideas and decorating solutions.
Ensure all painting tools and equipment are well maintained and in excellent working order.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform maintenance and touch up work as needed, ensuring high quality results.
Requirements:

Experience as a professional painter.
Must have an ABN.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
