Painter |amp| Decorator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through their artistic abilities and attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Measure and cut materials accurately for decorative purposes.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills

Proficient in English to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Strong painting skills with experience in various techniques and materials.
Ability to drive to different job sites as required.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for colour matching.
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
