We are seeking Carpenters to join our Fulton Hogan team based in Ranui, Auckland.
In this role you will support our heavy civil team, we specialise in infrastructure construction, based around reinforced concrete. We are currently delivering work ranging from bridges and wharves to water treatment plants, storage tanks and pipelines.
Carpenters will be ideally qualified with experience in formwork, retaining walls, wharves, abutments, piers, columns, concrete and steel.
Your main duties will include:
Repair damaged structures, fitting prepared items into buildings
Complete formwork (boxing) for structures
Study and interpret building plans and drawings
Liaise with your Foreman and Supervisor and other team members
Operate handheld equipment including power tools needed for Carpentry work
We're looking for someone with:
At least 3 years of experience in a Carpentry role, ideally in the civil construction industry
BCITO or equivalent, Carpentry or Construction qualification
A Class 1 drivers' licence
A positive attitude and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
A positive contribution to the team culture will a focus on continual improvement
A willingness to learn and develop
