Position Summary:
The Order Management Associate is responsible for managing the full order placement process with suppliers, ensuring timely tracking updates, and following up on outstanding orders. This role involves daily data entry, managing supplier communications, and using Microsoft Excel to maintain and update order records.
This position is remote and open to candidates located in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Place purchase orders with suppliers accurately and on time
Upload and maintain order tracking information in our system
Follow up with suppliers on order statuses, delays, and issues
Communicate order updates and changes with internal teams
Enter and update data accurately in spreadsheets and order management tools
Monitor open orders daily and ensure timely processing and closure
Support the team with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Data entry experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, and data sorting/filtering)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in order management, customer service, or administrative support is an asset, but not required
Post-secondary education is not required — we value skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic
