Job Description for Exadata Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Exadata administrator to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Exadata architecture, features, and hardware. They should be able to design, implement, and manage Exadata systems, as well as troubleshoot and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implementation of Exadata systems, including configuration and setup of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC, and IORM.
• Management of Exadata hardware, including Cell Disk and Grid disk, Luns, and Extreme Flash drives.
• Performance tuning and optimization of Exadata components, including CELLCLI and DCLI.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Exadata-related issues.
Requirements
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Exadata administration, with expertise in Exadata architecture, features, and hardware.
• Hands-on experience with RAC, Database, and ASM management, as well as performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of RAC components and architecture, including performance tuning experience.
• Experience with day-to-day monitoring of RDBMS and RAC environments.
Bonus Skills
• Knowledge of High capacity drives and their configurations.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools.
