A global organisation is looking to engage an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to support ongoing DBA activities within their Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical DBA expertise and work as part of a dedicated support team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform administration and tuning of Oracle EBS applications and database environments
Conduct regular data exports and backups as part of data management and disaster recovery
Support ongoing system stability and performance tuning , including RAC and Exadata optimisation
Engage in routine system administration , patching, and cloning activities
Generate performance and compliance reports for internal monitoring and audit requirements
Key Skills Required
✅ Proven Oracle DBA skills with a focus on Oracle EBS (Applications DBA)
✅ Good exposure to Order Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules in EBS
✅ Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
✅ Familiarity with Real Application Clusters (RAC) and high-availability environments
✅ Experience working with Exadata systems is highly desirable
This role is well-suited to a self-sufficient and technically strong DBA who can hit the ground running and provide immediate impact across stability, tuning, and reporting initiatives. Flexibility to work with teams across different time zones will be beneficial.
