Purpose of the position:
• The Site Manager is responsible for the ECI-Dombivli site in accordance with Evonik Policies and ESHQ requirements. The Site is part of BL Catalysts and Head of Operations will oversee the optimal operations of the production at site. This position is responsible for setting the vision, goals and objectives of the site as well as adjusting site resources and assets to meet production and development needs in terms of cost, product quality, and process flow.
• Financial KPIs of the site are aligned with the BLs strategy and are met. Operational excellence is developed, implemented, and executed by putting in place appropriate best practices and processes in the context of the Evonik Production system as defined in the Production Technology global strategy for the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management
• Communication with personnel at all levels and with corporate partners in order to maintain programs advancement, anticipate issues and facilitate internal resource allocation
• Initiate, monitor and analyze financial results, plan budgets and forecasts, allocate resources to meet financial expectations
• Participate in and drive new technology and innovation
• Actively preparing and participate in quality audits
• Interact with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control units to ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures
• Develop strategies for expanding manufacturing operations and capabilities
• Oversight of all manufacturing operations
• Participate in strategic plans for process and plant improvements to increase efficiency and drive down costs.
• Develop goals and objectives for plant to ensure continuous improvement in productivity and cost position. Manage and resource the organization to achieve set goals and objectives. Read more
