What does an Online Marketplace Executive do at One Retail Group?
As an Online Marketplace Executive, you will play a key role in driving the success of our products across Amazon globally, including Amazon UK/ EU and other marketplaces. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of best-selling products, ensuring their performance meets sales, revenue, and profitability targets, working alongside our team of 100 people across the UK, China and UAE.
Location: Hyderabad, India
You will initially work remotely (from home) in India, but should be prepared to commute daily to our location in Hyderabad, India once on-site operations are established.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working closely with a diverse, enthusiastic, and talented team as part of a growing Marketplace Department. You will be responsible for a portfolio of products across our UK and EU Amazon Marketplace. In your role, you will be responsible for:
PL Ownership Performance Management – Manage a portfolio of products across Amazon and other marketplaces, taking full ownership of product sales, revenue, and profitability, ensuring key financial targets are met.
Advertising PPC Management – Create, manage, and optimise Amazon PPC and other marketplace advertising campaigns to maximise ROI and visibility.
Product Strategy Optimisation – Analyse sales trends, category data, and market dynamics to refine pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.
New Product Launches – Successfully introduce new products into competitive niches, ensuring strong sales and profitability from launch.
Marketplace Expansion – Identify and execute opportunities to scale into new platforms beyond Amazon and Noon, working closely with trading and logistics teams.
Brand Content Management – Improve product listings with keyword-optimised descriptions, high-quality visuals, and enhanced brand positioning.
Competitor Market Analysis – Conduct competitor research to inform pricing strategies and product differentiation.
Campaign Deal Execution – Plan and manage major sales events (Prime Day, White Friday, Ramadan) to maximise traffic and conversions.
Ideal Candidate:
Marketplace Expertise – Preferred 3+ years selling products on Amazon, with experience selling on Noon or other marketplaces.
Advertising PPC Skills – Hands-on experience with Amazon PPC, optimising campaigns to maximise sales and ROI.
Data-Driven Commercially Minded – Strong Excel skills to analyse data, track performance, and drive profit-focused decisions.
Strategic Growth-Oriented – Passion for e-commerce, with a proactive approach to scaling revenue and launching new products.
Content Brand Awareness – Ability to write keyword-optimised product listings and enhance brand positioning.
Process Automation Focus – Experience optimising workflows and leveraging automation tools to improve efficiency.
