Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Occupational Health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting health and safety to all employees, facilitating an employee health program that includes disease detection, prevention, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering and integrating patient data to develop and implement individualized plans of care
Administering indications and prescribed therapies utilizing reference materials
Evaluating progress towards expected outcomes and revising plans as necessary
Promoting health and safety to all employees based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through continuing education and personal development
Requirements:
Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Occupational Health certification (preferred)
3 years of clinical, occupational health, and/or employee health experience
Education: Registered nurse diploma, Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
Work Environment:
The incumbent works with patients who have known or suspected communicable diseases and may enter isolation rooms. The incumbent has an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.
