Nova IVF Fertility Nurse
As a nurse at Nova IVF Fertility, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support. Your primary duties will include welcoming and greeting patients, introducing yourself as the patient nurse, understanding the patient's purpose of visiting the floor, and giving admission to the patient as per their requirement.
You will also be responsible for escorting patients to their rooms/wards, orienting them about what to expect during their stay in the hospital today, and explaining hospital services and facilities. Additionally, you will assist consultants, gynecologists, physicians, and medical officers during their rounds in the hospital.
Your responsibilities will also include measuring and noting patients' temperature, pulse, BP, and other vitals, informing medical officers or assistant gynecologists, and assisting technicians for ECG. You will also administer injections, start pints, and follow orders from consultants.
Furthermore, you will carefully shift patients to the OT as planned, explain relevant information to patients and relatives before and after procedures/surgeries, take rounds of patients at regular intervals, and fill up nursing sheets. You will also explain drug store visits to patients' relatives, perform pre-discharge activities, and wave a happy goodbye to patients.
In addition to these duties, you will maintain drug stock, check expiry dates every 3 months, give trigger injections to OPU patients, prepare dressing trays, and autoclave them. You will also assist gynecologists/medical officers with dressing, be kind and well-mannered to patients and colleagues, remain well-groomed, and maintain medical records as per law.
Finally, you will participate in training sessions, follow all instructions and duties given by management, and take indoor rounds of admitted patients. You will also maintain order books for injections/medicines given to patients.
