CARPENTER – NORTHERN PROJECTS
Denver Property Restoration Services Inc. is a property restoration company which provides restorative and construction services to residential homes and commercial buildings within Winnipeg and remote communities. We offer a wide range of services to remediate conditions caused by fire, flood, wind, sewer back up, mould and environmental hazards.
We are seeking a Carpenter for our Northern Division to join our team. We pride ourselves on helping to restore a home or business to its pre-loss condition and strive to maintain a reputation for excellent work and customer service.
We are looking for a customer-focused, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and grow. As a Carpenter – Northern Projects, knowledge and experience in all aspects of construction are required. This position involves documenting job progress and keeping relationships within the communities where you are stationed. We are seeking an individual with strong work ethic and willingness, and the ability to be out of town for up to 21 days at a time as a requirement of the position.
Requirements:
· Ability to work outside of Winnipeg, on remote properties for extended periods of time.
· The role requires at least 2 years of experience in construction.
· Must have a valid Manitoba drivers’ license and able to provide a Criminal Background Check, a Child Abuse Registry Check and a Adult Abuse Registry Check.
· Practical knowledge and safe operation of equipment and power tools; own tools required.
· Able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
· Knowledge of residential building codes.
· Must be physically fit, lift equipment and materials (drywall, plywood, etc.).
· Must be detailed oriented.
· Experience working in Northern Communities an asset.
