A Vacancy at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The Discharge Hospitality Centre is a busy environment with the transfer of between 40 - 50 patients per day, we are looking for a highly motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who has excellent organisational and planning qualities. Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, delivery of patient transport.
• Adhere to Wirral Hospital objectives, policies, protocols and guidelines.
• Contribute to promoting a critical, analytical approach to the delivery of care and implementation of change.
• In the absence of the Ward/Departmental Manager or their deputy, act as shift coordinator.
• Be aware of and adhere to national, local and professional policies, protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure effective communication with Patients , families , peers promoting safe patient care and good patient experience.
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is situated on The Wirral peninsula which has a stunning coastline and beautiful countryside surroundings, with great activities for its residents.
We are one of the largest and busiest acute Trusts in the North West of England, comprising of the Wirral’s only Emergency Department.
