He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role

We are looking for casual customer service superstars to join our National Communications Centre based in Lower Hutt (next to Queensgate Mall).

This frontline role is the heartbeat of our national support function. You'll respond to incoming calls from clients, whanau and support workers across the country. You'll work closely with regional and national teams to ensure our community-based care services run smoothly and safely.

What you'll do:

Handle inbound calls with professionalism and empathy
Respond to a wide variety of queries - from care cancellations to client wellbeing checks
Log and escalate incidents accurately using our systems
Work collaboratively with care coordination teams across New Zealand
Support a positive client and support worker experience every step of the way

Hourly Rate: $25.20 - Additional allowances of $0.45-$0.50 per hour apply based on role criteria.


We're currently hiring for the following casual work hours:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings (7:30am-10:30am)
Monday afternoons (4:30pm-8:30pm)
Weekend availability (any time)

If you're available to work on a casual basis but these times don't suit you, please include your preferred availability (between 6:00am and 10:00pm, any day of the week) in your cover letter when applying.


Training Commitment:

To set you up for success in this key role, we offer a comprehensive training program requiring availability for three full weeks (8 hours per day), starting in late August.


We understand that circumstances vary, so some flexibility around training availability may be possible — please mention any difficulty with this commitment in your cover letter alongside your preferred hours
