Nikkei (Canada) Marketing Limited is an industry leader, since 2003, in the marketing and distribution of specialized health products worldwide. Nikkei is currently looking for a full-time permanent Multimedia Editor, who is fluent in Vietnamese, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing software and the ability to transform footage into engaging and polishing content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with marketing and creative team to understand the vision and direction of each project.
• Assemble and edit raw footage into a seamless final product, ensuring it meets the project’s goals and objectives.
• Add graphics, animations, text, and other visual effects to enhance the video content.
• Adjust and edit sound to ensure high-quality audio, including syncing audio with video, adding sound effects, and selecting background music.
• Perform colour correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the mood of the video.
• Export final videos in various formats for different platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
• Organize and manage project files, including footage, audio, and other assets, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, software, and social media to continually improve the quality of work.
• Review and make necessary revisions to the video to ensure it meets the required quality standards and brand guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
• Required Languages: Proficient in English and Chinese (Simplified or Traditional)
• Assets but not required: Proficient in French, Vietnamese or Japanese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM content platforms
• Strong organizational and communication skills
Work Experience:
• 1 year of experience as a video editor
• Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Required languages: Proficiency in English and Vietnamese
• Understanding of various video formats, codecs, and the post-production process.
• Strong creative skills and the ability to think outside the box to produce engaging content.
• High level of attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the video are polished and professional.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
• Assets but not required: Proficiency in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional)
• Hands-on knowledge of AI-powered software tools is a plus
Work Experience:
• at least 1 year experience working as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
Education:
• College or equivalent
