About us:

Car Spares Distribution is at the center of the Midlands automotive aftermarket, supplying a range of vehicle parts to retail and trade customers in our friendly branches.

Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a Multi-drop Delivery Driver. As a delivery driver, you will play a crucial part of the Car Spares team. By making multiple deliveries throughout the day, and delivering parts to our customers, you will be the face of our brand, and must therefore be concerned with continuously providing excellent customer service and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. Main duties include:
• Ensuring timely delivery,
• Making multi drop deliveries to customer sites,
• Ensure high levels of customer service at all times,
• Load/unload your vehicle,
• Collect customer returns as required,
• Vehicle maintenance including carrying out daily checks,
• Help in the warehouse as and when required,
• Adhoc duties as required to assist with the running of the branch,
• Assist with inter-branch transfer deliveries, as and when required.

Skills and experience:
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence (maximum of 3 points),
• Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience,
• Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy,
• Previous experience within a delivery driver role is preferred,
• Have the ability to lift and carry heavy items,
• Strong time management and customer service skills,
• Ability to follow instruction and work within set procedures,
• Willing to assist customers and other team members,
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods,
• Have a polite and friendly manner.

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40.75 per week
